We are firm believers in self-help and we will continue to pursue books and classes to further our personal and professional development knowledge, skills, and tools - this is our JAM! However, over the years we've noticed there is one hiccup to self-help. It cannot possibly cover the variety and mixture of everyone’s experiences, knowledge, and perceptions. When any of us pick up a book, or an article, or take a class we are learning and experiencing it through the hundreds of lenses of our own meaning-making. The same mindset and meaning-making that found us (any of us) in the space of buying self-help in the first place. On top of that, we must figure out which of the billion of self-help solutions will give us the most bang for our buck.
What is a person to do? It can present quite a conundrum and trigger feelings of frustration and hopelessness.
As life coaches, we aren't problem-solvers, we're astute listeners and observers. We utilize the power of inquiry, and our expansive library of knowledge and skills-building tools with our clients, our online communities, and our podcast listening community to assist others in uncovering, for themselves, what's potentially getting in the way of achieving their goals.
We are excited to share our one-on-one "Mindful Exchanges" in the hopes they will give listeners additional perspectives and food for thought about their own lives. And we are willing to have mindful exchanges directly with you! Feel free to reach out via our contact page for help or to give us another perspective (we may read your comments on an upcoming episode) or you can join us in our Mindful Exchange social media community to express your thoughts.
There is no better time than right now to make your move toward living the life you're meant to live!

There is much that goes on within the conscious and subconscious mind; magnificently keeping us alive, protecting us from harm, helping us to make a living, driving us to make those cherished bonds/connections with others, and much more. Yet oddly enough, we often allow ourselves to go on autopilot, failing to connect with our conscious desires, plans, and subconscious overrides, at least in a deeply meaningful way. As a result, our relationship with ourselves is disconnected. Does this sound like you?
If yes, the Best at Being ME! program might be just right for you! It is a 12-week creative journey designed to give YOU the tools combined with exploratory creativity (drawing painting collaging etc) techniques and tools to discover and express who you are so that you can design the life you want to live.
After all, the most important relationship is the one you have with yourself and NO ONE is better at knowing YOUR STRENGTHS AND LIMITATIONS than YOU!
We're excited to offer a segment called "Unpleasant Truth," where we'll be discussing topics that are often seen as dark, negative, or controversial but are important to address to live authentically and build resilience. These topics may include narcissistic parents, childhood trauma, marital infidelity, good girls picking bad boys, mental illness, depression, workplace conflict, parenting a difficult child, and so much more.
It's not easy to talk about these topics, but they are a part of life for many people and it's important to find ways to understand, cope with, and manage them in a healthy and mindful way. We know these topics can be triggering for some people, and we encourage you to take care of yourself and reach out for support if you need it. It's okay to take a break from listening if you need to, and we encourage you to find resources and support in your community if you're struggling.
One of the goals of the "Unpleasant Truth" segment is to offer a non-judgmental space for these kinds of conversations. We believe that by openly and honestly discussing these topics, we can help build resilience for the future and bring about compassion. We hope that the "Unpleasant Truth" segment will be a helpful and supportive resource for you on your journey toward self-awareness, authenticity, and resilience.
We release a new episode on Wednesdays.
